Who Weep
who weep with me
Given the prompt to use “Who weep with me” as the first words of an 11 line poem that is not a sermon, with no full sentences, no punctuation, populated with trees, birds, a reference to contemporary music, a dance move, a reversal, and a breaking, I sat by a pond and wrote:
Who weep with me maple sap puncture crack tapped leaking taped neck parakeet from Dumb and Dumber used to be funnier illiteracy means to me Word in parentheses this is not would not could be won’t possibility is never hermeneutical yet Love mirrored who weep with me me weep with Love waltz trade off who steps you step me step with step back tap three turn return two spin twist mist tear weep here tap tilt one turn who weep with Perpetua Breonna Justin George Jesus under the devil’s knee dirty thirty something worry anxious no patience tight chested who weep who me who with who weep with me before the movie real thing flesh thing wet thing who bring who ring who weep with me
In wordy wordiness,
Walter
