Hi!

Here is the high point of my week.

My Daughter is a Dancer

A boy comes up to her swinging a stick.
tells her he’s come to get her with his weapon.

With the earnestness earned from all her eight years,
she turns to him, lifts her chin high, says,

“Taekwondo will never defeat dance.”

She puffs out her chest, throws her arms back
and chassés the hell away from that boy.
