In the wilds of my most natural habitat
I came across a curious creature
with the ears of a cat
and with skin cloaked in
a psychedelic spiral of celestial bodies.
The brightly colored beastie
lazed in her soft
nest of pillow and blanket
curling herself around a paperback,
totally focused on consuming her prey.
